About The Position

NDM Hospitality is a dynamic and growing property management company specializing in the restaurant industry. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. If you have a strong background in Full Cycle Accounting, AP processing, Bank Reconciliations, Credit Card Receivables, and inventory experience with systems such as NetSuite and Craftable Inventory, we would love to hear from you. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Multi-Family Apartment Staff Accountant with a comprehensive understanding of property-level full cycle accounting to join our team in Boca Raton, FL.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
Minimum of 3 years of related real estate accounting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

a master's degree and/or CPA is preferred.
Comprehensive Real Page or equivalent knowledge for tenant billing management is preferred.
Strong preference for candidates with Real Page experience.

Responsibilities

Responsible for Full-Cycle Accounting.
Core functions include accounts receivable and prepaids, accounts payable and accruals, overall general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and depreciation/amortization.
Prepare monthly financial packages with supporting workpapers and balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure all reporting is accurate and in accordance with US GAAP standards.
Provide monthly and year-to-date budget vs. actual variance analysis.
Work in conjunction with operations to implement and maintain all accounting workflows.
Prepare annual budget and reforecast.
Act as a liaison to external parties, including internal and external auditors.
Oversee internal controls and enforce company accounting policies.
Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
