About The Position

The Corporate Security Supervisor is responsible for providing day-to-day security services to Zuffa personnel at the organization’s facilities, and for event security as directed by the Director, Security. This position researches and stays abreast of the security climate for upcoming UFC events and other safety and security factors that would impact our business. Supervise Corporate Security staff, including scheduling, time cards, performance management, and recruitment. Oversee event security at HQ and APEX events. Monitor safety and security climate regarding intelligence and incidents that could impact our events and corporate buildings. Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures related to security and safety. Perform emergency procedures in the event of a disaster or other emergency situation and frequently reviews procedures as necessary. Maintain working relationship and daily dialogue with current building security. Maintain access control measures for UFC office. Respond to and investigate incidents, accidents, and criminal acts against the property or employees, and complete appropriate incident reports or other paperwork necessary to document the situation and the outcome. Report findings to Director. Serve as backup or relief position as needed to the Director of Corporate Security in the managing of security related affairs at designated events. Provide personal protection for Executives per procedure and pre-arranged protocol and directives. Manage all potential and real threats using only those tactics necessary to address the threat and to draw the least amount of attention to the situation. Manage office needs by identifying and monitoring vendors, coordinating repair and maintenance needs. Heavily involved in the planning and coordination of events on property. Maintains a neat and proper uniform at all times. Perform other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or successful completion of qualifying General Education Development (GED) program
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • At least 3 years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or the Military
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
  • CPR/AED Certification is required
  • Demonstrate and understand management goals and objectives
  • Working knowledge of, and ability to be trained to fully utilize, all functions of an alarm system and security monitoring equipment
  • Adequate computer skills, with a working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and various other software programs
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a passport and potentially travel up to 35% of the time
  • Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present ideas and concepts to groups, including members of the senior management team
  • Ability to cultivate and establish effective relationships with all levels of management and co-workers, as well as security and police personnel
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain discretion and protect confidential information
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
