About The Position

Mastercard's internship program offers more than hands-on work. The Global Fusion Center, based in the St. Louis Tech Hub, brings together teams and perspectives from across the company to help Mastercard better understand and prepare for emerging challenges. The team connects colleagues working across cyber, fraud, geopolitical risk, and enterprise resilience, helping them share information, align efforts, and support informed decision-making. Through research, briefings, exercises, and cross-functional projects, the Fusion Center strengthens collaboration and helps build a more resilient organization.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas effectively through strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading projects, teams, student organizations, or academic initiatives, with strong project management and leadership capabilities.
  • Interest in cybersecurity intelligence, threat intelligence, cyber investigations, risk analysis, or related intelligence-focused disciplines.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn about emerging cyber threats, security trends, and intelligence-driven security practices.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States, now as well as in the future, without employer sponsorship. Students or recent graduates in the United States on an F1 visa (including those with CPT or OPT authorization) are not eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, briefings, exercises, and cross-functional projects to strengthen collaboration and build a more resilient organization.
  • Support the Global Fusion Center in understanding and preparing for emerging challenges.
  • Facilitate information sharing and alignment of efforts among teams working across cyber, fraud, geopolitical risk, and enterprise resilience.
  • Support informed decision-making by connecting colleagues and providing relevant intelligence.
