About The Position

Flex Corporate Security Officer — Full Time Former military / law enforcement encouraged to apply!! Wage : $35.51/HR Location: Redmond, WA & Kirkland, WA OR Everett, WA Available Schedules : Swing: 2pm-10:45pm Grave: 10pm-6:45am At Securitas, on-site security officers are the foundation of our organization. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
Associate degree OR 2 years of honorable military service OR 2 years of professional law enforcement experience.
Standard computer / technology skills needed.
Exceptional customer service experience required 2+ years of professional experience in customer service and security required.
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
Provide detailed written reports.
Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
