About The Position

The Corporate Security Lead – Office, Lab & Manufacturing is responsible for leading the corporate security program across U.S. office, laboratory, and manufacturing environments. This role ensures the protection of employees, physical assets, sensitive data, and intellectual property through the implementation of comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures. The leader oversees physical security, incident response, and risk management while partnering closely with the Corporate Security Center of Excellence (CoE) to align on enterprise standards and best practices. This role reports to the Head of US Office, Lab & Plant Real Estate & Corporate Security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate security, risk management, or related field
  • Deep expertise in physical security systems, incident response, and risk assessment
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing security vendors and service delivery models
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, incident-driven situations

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, laboratory, manufacturing, or regulated environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Implement a corporate security strategy across U.S. offices, laboratories, and manufacturing sites aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
  • Ensure protection of employees, physical assets, sensitive data, and intellectual property.
  • Oversee physical security measures, including access control systems, video surveillance, alarm systems, and security technologies.
  • Manage security personnel and third-party vendors, ensuring effective coverage and performance.
  • Evaluate and implement security technologies to enhance protection and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate security incident response across all sites, including workplace incidents, theft, and security breaches.
  • Partner with internal teams, law enforcement, and emergency services to ensure timely and effective response.
  • Develop and maintain incident response protocols and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments across offices, labs, and manufacturing sites.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies tailored to each environment.
  • Monitor emerging risks and adjust security programs accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Security Center of Excellence (CoE) to align on standards, tools, and intelligence.
  • Support implementation of enterprise security initiatives and frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data, benchmarking, and best practices.
  • Lead and develop a team of security professionals and/or manage external security vendors.
  • Partner closely with Facilities Management, Construction, Real Estate, HR, Legal, IT, and business leaders.
  • Serve as the primary security advisor for U.S. office, lab, and plant environments.
  • Provide executive reporting on security incidents, risks, and program effectiveness.
