About The Position

The Corporate Security Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization's physical security technology platforms. This role supports the protection of associates, property, and physical assets across all facilities through effective system management, troubleshooting, reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external service providers. Hands-on experience with access control, video management, and alarm systems is required. Corporate security systems administration experience is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience administering physical security systems in a corporate, critical infrastructure, healthcare, financial services, or similar environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of access control, video management, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, and related field hardware and software.
  • Strong organization, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Security Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as Honeywell ProWatch, LenelS2, Genetec, CCURE, Avigilon, Milestone, or similar systems preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations, system integrations, and cross-functional coordination with IT, Facilities, HR, and vendors preferred.
  • Manufacturer, network, or related technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain enterprise physical security systems, including access control, video management, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, and visitor management platforms.
  • Create, modify, audit, and deactivate user permissions, cardholder records, system roles, schedules, and administrative access in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitor system health and performance, investigate alarms and device failures, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain reliable operations.
  • Generate system reports, activity logs, audit data, and metrics to support security operations, compliance, and management reporting.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for cameras, readers, panels, door hardware, workstations, servers, and other connected security devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and configuration issues in coordination with IT, Facilities, vendors, and integrators.
  • Coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, firmware updates, software patches, and testing to ensure systems remain secure and fully operational.
  • Support badge and credential management processes, including badge production, activation, deactivation, and access issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate system databases, device inventories, site maps, door configurations, alarm points, partitions, and other platform records.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, system documentation, as-built records, configuration standards, and change logs.
  • Assist Facility Project Managers with implementation, testing, commissioning, and turnover of new installations, upgrades, migrations, and system integrations.
  • Support incident response activities by retrieving video, access history, alarm events, and related system data for investigations and operational reviews.
  • Provide after-hours support, urgent troubleshooting, and coordination during critical incidents, outages, or facility emergencies.
  • Partner with Security, Facilities, HR, and IT teams to support site security requirements, user onboarding and offboarding, contract guard force operations training on platform use, and operational change management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, system optimization, and lifecycle planning to strengthen the overall physical security technology program.
  • Coordinate third-party service providers, security integrators, and maintenance vendors performing work related to security systems and devices.
  • Support budgeting, procurement, asset tracking, and contract administration for physical security technology hardware, software, and services.
