About The Position

The Corporate Relations Engagement Officer serves as the primary lead for diversifying and growing College Success Foundation's (CSF) corporate revenue and engagement. This role is responsible for linking CSF's mission with the philanthropic goals of the business community to drive six-figure growth. This position focuses on the "Corporate Top 25" and building a robust pipeline of corporate partners through a mix of high-level solicitations, employee volunteerism, and workforce development opportunities for students and CSF alumni.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5 years of experience in fundraising, corporate relations, or account management with a proven track record of securing ten-figure gifts.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Outstanding public speaking and writing skills; ability to translate complex program data into a compelling business case for support.
  • Ability to demonstrate fiscal responsibility in fundraising efforts by effectively managing budgets, ensuring transparency in financial reporting, and maximizing the impact of donations.
  • Microsoft Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook). Including but not limited to; Salesforce, MailChimp, CVENT and Social Tables.
  • Ability to look at data and find valuable and actionable information for frontline fundraisers in order to enrich prospect pool and increase revenue.
  • Experience in managing a large volume of data, specifically event registrations and financial record- keeping and reconciliation.
  • Utilize proactive approaches to problem-solving with decision-making capability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, respecting individual differences, and serving diverse populations.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all of CSF's Corporate Relations activities, ensuring alignment with the organization's broader philanthropy goals.
  • Design and execute annual fundraising strategies specifically for a "Corporate Top 25" list of high-potential prospects.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of up to 100 corporate contributors and prospects. Focus on the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of gifts in the five and six-figure range.
  • Develop mutually beneficial opportunities by linking CSF's mission with corporate CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) missions to drive overall revenue growth.
  • Maintain active, high-touch relationships with corporate decision-makers and sponsorship representatives through regular meetings, site visits, and personalized outreach.
  • Work closely with program leadership to increase corporate engagement through student-facing initiatives, including company site visits, internship opportunities, and career exploration programs.
  • Build and maintain pipelines for corporations seeking to engage employees in volunteerism or provide professional pathways for CSF.
  • Collaborate across departments to create and maintain a system for tracking and growing corporate engagement in partnership with program staff.
  • Responsible for meeting annual corporate revenue targets and related engagement KPIs.
  • Ensure corporate donors receive high-quality, mission-driven stewardship that emphasizes the impact of their investment and encourages multi-year commitments.
