About The Position

We are seeking a Corporate Receptionist based at our headquarters in Raleigh, NC who will report to the Facilities Services Supervisor. As the first point of contact for the Martin Marietta Headquarters, the corporate receptionist plays a key role in representing our brand and setting the tone for all who enter our doors. We are looking for a polished, professional, and cordial individual to join our team and take on this important role. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role, and will be able to juggle multiple tasks at once. The receptionist will be responsible for greeting and directing visitors, answering and routing phone calls, and providing general administrative support.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED or five years’ prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize activities, and self-manage focus and time

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Helping maintain workplace security by checking and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs
  • Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary
  • Providing basic customer service, including responding to requests for information about products or services offered by the company
  • Performing ad-hoc administrative duties
  • Work as a team with Facilities Services and the Security Personnel
  • Ensures all activities are performed in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures, and Code of Ethical Business Conduct
