About The Position

Crossland is seeking a Construction Project Scheduler with advanced experience in Primavera P6 scheduling programs and strong building and field experience. This individual will be a key presence for a portion of the company's projects, providing leadership, support, and training in accordance with Crossland's policies and procedures. The role involves participating in all aspects of construction planning and scheduling to ensure projects have detailed, logical, accurate, and communicative schedules that help projects stay on track, finish on time, and remain profitable.

Requirements

Advanced experience in Primavera P6 scheduling program(s).
Strong building and field experience.
5+ years experience with Primavera P6 including cost and resource loading.

Nice To Haves

Water/Wastewater treatment plant experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with creating, updating, and implementing project schedules collaboratively with the project team.
Provide leadership, direction, and support for Crossland's scheduling efforts.
Perform schedule reviews to ensure company procedures and guidelines are adhered to.
Participate in all phases of the construction planning and scheduling process, including proposal schedules, CPM schedules, baseline schedules, and ongoing schedule updates.
Ensure project schedules adhere to contractual requirements.
Make regular visits to job sites to review job status.
Attend project-related or job site meetings when the emphasis is on the schedule.
Lead an update review meeting with the project team, ensuring all items that have or may have a negative impact on the project are properly documented within the schedule.
Provide construction and scheduling program support and training for assigned divisions and job site staff.
Demonstrate a good grasp of local market information, including seasonal weather patterns, materials, labor forces, and other factors that may impact a project’s schedule.
Utilize complete knowledge and experience for Cost Loading and Resource Loading schedules.
Be prepared to share alternate work plans and methods of construction to mitigate impacts and delays.
Ensure that all projects have a “Baseline” schedule established prior to construction, and continue to create Baseline snapshots weekly.
Ensure that all project schedules are utilizing Crossland's uniform template, then customizing it to the project’s specific needs.
Work with Marketing, Estimating, and the Pre-Construction Departments to prepare and finalize proposal schedules.
Perform a detailed critical path analysis for problem projects.
Perform weekly progress updates, while monitoring and tracking progress at a detailed and summary level.
Communicate knowledgeably and effectively with all field staff, office staff, design teams, and clients to ensure efficient and accurate schedule development and updates.
Identify and communicate schedule risks to Area Superintendents and Division Managers.
Analyze potential impacts, deliveries, change orders, time extensions, etc., through the proper use of coding, labeling, and creating fragments and/or time impact analysis.
