About The Position

The Corporate Philanthropy Officer will lead the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate sponsors, donors, and key foundation partners. This role manages a portfolio of corporate and foundation relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for decision-makers and trustees while building meaningful, mission-aligned partnerships that drive revenue and community impact. Working collaboratively with Development, Education & Outreach, Volunteer, and Events teams, this individual will develop and execute strategies to grow corporate revenue through sponsorships, workplace giving campaigns, engagement events, give-back promotions, and in-kind support. The Corporate Philanthropy Officer will also launch and lead a Young Professionals Group to engage emerging leaders through networking, volunteerism, and fundraising initiatives-creating a strong pipeline of future donors and advocates while advancing AHS's overall fundraising and engagement goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Three years of experience in nonprofit development, corporate relations, or a closely related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Ability to read and understand financial statements, including budgets and P&L statements required.
  • High level of focus, organization, and time management in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • High level attention to detail, thoroughness, and follow-through.
  • Ethical, patient, and professional behavior.
  • Pre-employment background check is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Budgyt or comparable financial software preferred.
  • Proficiency in Raiser's Edge fundraising database, comparable donor database software or CRM preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce a plus.
