The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for performing a wide variety of payroll activities, including ensuring accuracy and compliance of proper internal control payroll processes. The job involves conducting root cause analysis to identify payroll systems problems/issues. Responsible in maintaining payroll systems audit monthly, quarterly or as required. The job may also assist with external payroll audit request, implementations of current or new acquisitions, researching laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll procedures as needed. #LI-BF3

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • A minimum of 5 years Hospital Payroll experience.
  • General accounting background.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel or equivalent.
  • Experience with JBDev/Kronos or similar timekeeping system.
  • Some knowledge of ADP preferred.
  • Knowledge of Wage and Hour Guidelines and Healthcare pay practices.
  • Knowledge of payroll dictionary set up.
  • Hands on experience with payroll taxes.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands on experience with audits for 401k, DOL, W/C preferred.
  • Multi-state knowledge of payroll laws preferred.
  • Some knowledge of ADP preferred.
  • Experience with union collective bargaining agreements and protocols preferred.
