About The Position

The Corporate Payroll Analyst II reports to the Corporate Payroll Supervisor. Under general supervision and within a large and rapidly growing Health System, this role is responsible for the training of departmental timekeepers and administration of accurate and timely issuance of employee time and attendance entries and the resultant reporting (internal and external). This role is also responsible for record-keeping, researching and resolving care team member payroll questions, providing required documents for both internal audit and the external fiscal year end audit and adherence to all payroll laws and regulations. This role will work with MUSC Community Physicians to ensure the timeliness of provider bonuses and verify the contractual terms in which it is paid. The Corporate Payroll Analyst II ensures accountability, quality and efficiency of resources and controls and measures operational progress and results. This role provides support for vital areas of Workday, Kronos, deductions and retirements. This position serves as a Workday Payroll Partner.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of directly related payroll experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or work experience.
  • The ability to accurately make mathematical calculations
  • Ability to solve problems in an on-line, real-time financial system
  • Ability to audit information accurately and quickly.
  • Must be able to apply policy and procedures to daily operations and possess the ability to communicate professionally through all forms of communication (phone, email, in-person and online messaging/meeting apps).
