About The Position

We are seeking a Corporate Paralegal, based in Lakewood, New Jersey to support several of our businesses including but not limited to Public Knowledge® (PK) and Bulletproof Solutions Inc. (BP). This is a full-time, in-office position that will work closely with the President & CEO to support day-to-day legal operations. What You Will Accomplish Here… This role focuses on contract review and management, acquisition-related legal support, compliance tracking, and corporate governance activities. The Corporate Paralegal will handle matters that do not require outside counsel and will help ensure that legal processes are organized, timely, and aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • A minimum of five (5) years of previous Corporate Paralegal experience is required.
  • Paralegal Certification is required.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint is required.
  • Must have knowledge of the legal and administrative requirements of contract agreements and other fundamental legal principles and concepts
  • Must have knowledge of legal publications and periodicals and procedures for extracting information.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines and prioritize.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Notary Public is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review, track, and organize contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, NDAs, and amendments.
  • Monitor contract compliance and key obligations, including deadlines, renewal terms, and notice requirements.
  • Maintain our centralized contract repository and tracking system.
  • Support leadership with legal research and drafting of routine legal correspondence.
  • Assist with legal and administrative tasks related to acquisitions, including assignment documents, disclosure schedules, and closing checklists.
  • Track post-closing legal obligations and ensure timely completion of required filings or notices.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors as needed to support transaction-related work.
  • Track and help ensure compliance with state registrations, business filings, and corporate records.
  • Ensure and track contract compliance for many contracts in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance efforts as needed across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Work closely with leadership, accounting, HR, and operations to ensure legal considerations are integrated into business processes.
  • Maintain organized legal files and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
