About The Position

Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Services, the Corporate Officer serves as the Regional District's statutory officer and provides strategic leadership for legislative governance, corporate administration, records management, access to information and privacy, and democratic processes. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Corporate Officer acts as a trusted advisor to the Board, Committees, Commissions, the CAO, and senior staff, providing expert guidance on governance, legislative requirements, procedural matters, corporate policy, and organizational risk. This influential leadership role ensures the integrity of the Regional District's decision-making processes, supports transparent and accountable governance, and helps the organization meet its statutory obligations.
