About The Position

The Corporate Office Intern will provide cross-functional support to the Human Resources, Administrative, Safety, and Accounting departments within an agricultural company. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the operational and compliance functions that support a production-based agribusiness. This position is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Agribusiness, or a related field who is interested in corporate operations within the agriculture industry.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic understanding of HR practices and administrative procedures.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles preferred.
  • Ability to learn internal HRIS or accounting software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Accurate data entry and record management skills.
  • Customer Service experience
  • Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals and professional journals
  • Ability to solve practical industry related problems.
  • Professional or educational experience in business, accounting/finance or HR.
  • Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee files and ensure documentation compliance.
  • Support tracking of employee training and certifications.
  • Help coordinate internal communications and HR-related updates.
  • Help develop HR assistance dashboard and chatbot
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Assist in tracking safety training participation and certifications.
  • Participate in safety audits or documentation reviews.
  • Provide administrative assistance to management and department leaders.
  • Assist with special projects related to corporate operations.
