About The Position

The Manager of Corporate IT Systems coordinates IT Shared Services activities and provides strategic direction for the company’s corporate technology systems and processes. This role ensures that technology priorities, services, and investments align with business objectives while overseeing vendor relationships and an assigned budget cost center. The position works collaboratively with company leadership, departmental stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams. It requires the ability to translate complex technology matters into clear business terms, make sound decisions, and deliver effective solutions in a changing environment. Additional duties may be assigned by management as business needs require.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant education and experience may be considered.
  • Progressive experience in corporate IT systems, shared technology services, or a related IT leadership role.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to combine experience, knowledge, perspective, and business awareness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical information for nontechnical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with company leadership, cross-functional departments, engineers, and external vendors.
  • Results-driven, strategic, proactive, and highly organized, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet tight deadlines, and remain adaptable as business needs and priorities change.
  • Strong commitment to departmental and company goals and a passion for delivering effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan IT Shared Services activities, establish priorities, and lead daily stand-ups and other team meetings.
  • Define and support the company’s IT systems strategy, standards, and processes in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Communicate technology concerns, risks, and recommendations in clear business terms to company leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Build relationships across departments and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, engineers, vendors, and leadership.
  • Assess new and existing vendor relationships based on performance, cost, risk, service quality, and business value.
  • Manage the assigned budget cost center and support responsible planning and control of technology expenditures.
  • Evaluate system defects and operational issues, identify root causes, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver practical technology solutions that meet deadlines and exceed internal client expectations.
