About The Position

The Corporate Intern - Information Security internship gives students hands-on experience supporting functional projects and process improvements. The intern analyzes information, develops findings and conclusions, and delivers oral and written insights and recommendations to management. The role works under general supervision, may include pairing with a mentor, and may involve research or special projects that support business initiatives and objectives. The preferred location is Doraville, Georgia, in a hybrid arrangement; Central Florida, remote, is a secondary option. Candidates may also be considered if they are flexible about location, including temporarily relocating to participate in the program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Work in compliance with established procedures or protocols.
• Demonstrate skill in data analysis and techniques, including resolving missing or incomplete information and inconsistencies or anomalies in routine research or data.

Nice To Haves

• Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related field, in the senior or graduating year of the program.
• Veteran status or transitioning from the military.
• Flexibility regarding work location, including the possibility of temporarily relocating to participate in the program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on analyses.
• Produce findings and draw conclusions from analyses, and make oral and written recommendations to management.
• Execute tasks directly related to functional projects and process improvements.
• Communicate issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility.
• Assist with research or special projects to fulfill business initiatives and meet business objectives.
• Resolve missing or incomplete information and inconsistencies or anomalies in routine research and data.
• May provide general guidance or direction to, or train, junior-level support personnel.
