About The Position

The Corporate Human Resources Manager is both a strategic yet grounded role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to functions within our corporate office. The role is critical in executing our critical HR initiatives, providing superior HR consultation, and driving HR programs to achieve business results. Position will follow a hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in Grand Rapids MI office, Thursday-Friday remote. Requirements

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience with proven results, including experience coaching/influencing executive level leaders.
  • Steady progression in HR Management or business roles for the last 5+ years.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a consistent pulse on leadership and team member engagement through a close relationship of coaching and mentoring with executives, directors, and team members.
  • Provide day to day coaching, conduct training and/or facilitate small and large group meetings with team members and leadership teams.
  • Conduct regular talent conversations to develop and implement talent actions at all levels.
  • Ensure comprehensive succession plans are in place for key positions.
  • Advise and counsel business leaders at all levels within client groups on all aspects of performance management including coaching, feedback, performance conversations, and conflict management.
  • Review and provide guidance on recognition, promotional and compensation change decisions to ensure reward structure is aligned to performance and appropriately incentivizes results.
  • Understand business goals and partner with HR Centers of Excellence to drive continuous improvement through new approaches to talent planning, development, and creative business solutions that increase productivity and improve results across the organization.
  • Demonstrate passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
  • Effectively plan, influence, and implement restructures and re-deployments.
  • Apply a project management mindset to implement effective change management in a dynamic fast-paced work environment.
  • Oversee the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues within the organizational unit.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to design and implement strategies to attract and retain high potential talent into the organization to drive both current and future business results.
  • May participate in screening and interview processes.
  • Drive talent development/management, workforce/succession planning, recruiting strategy, organizational effectiveness, and performance management practices.
