About The Position

The Corporate Financial Analyst coordinates financial reporting and analytics for business units, including oversight of financial data. The role supports the Corporate FP&A team and is based in NYC, where the executive team sits. The analyst provides financial analysis, reporting, and actionable insights to support business performance and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in finance-related positions, including accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and financial budgeting.
Experience using Workday Adaptive ERP.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, modeling, and data consolidation.
Desire to build and improve the efficiency of current processes and files.
Ability and drive to proactively cultivate relationships with colleagues and Business Unit owners.

Responsibilities

Support the finance department with ongoing analysis for products, business lines, business units, and the overall company.
Monitor specific P&L and balance sheet line items, research variances, and provide insights.
Create financial models and analyses for finance leadership and executive teams, providing actionable insights.
Work with business partners on issues and help identify resolutions.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual budget-versus-actual financial reviews.
Assist with data compilation and preparation of exhibits and schedules for internal reporting.
Calculate and track key business metrics.
Provide financial analyses to support strategic initiatives.
Review supplier expense spend.
Help manage headcount and compensation planning, reporting, and tracking.
Ensure follow-up actions are taken when necessary and provide updates to management.
Complete special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and other job-related duties required to support department objectives.
