About The Position

Scopely is hiring a Corporate Finance Manager for its Finance team in Culver City on a hybrid basis. Corporate Finance oversees company-wide financial planning and reporting, giving this role broad visibility into Scopely’s P&L and business operations. The manager will own the corporate close and reporting cadence while automation matures, progressively replacing manual processes with AI-native automation. As automation frees capacity, the role will increasingly focus on partnering across the company to evaluate returns and facilitate growth of Scopely-wide initiatives. The role involves consolidating financials across Scopely’s game portfolio, partnering with the CFO and finance leadership on reporting and company trajectory, identifying risks and shaping mitigation plans, and modeling returns on competing initiatives with cross-functional partners. The Corporate Finance Senior Director provides hands-on mentorship and supports the manager’s development.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or another strong analytical role.
Experience with month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting.
Demonstrated ability to develop scalable financial processes and introduce automation that reduces repetitive manual work.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and demonstrated ability to build models that size the financial impact of company-wide initiatives.
Proven ability to partner with senior cross-functional stakeholders, build consensus, and influence decisions without direct authority.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex analysis into clear, concise narratives and recommendations.

Nice To Haves

Experience with financial systems such as Oracle or Workday Adaptive Planning and data platforms such as BigQuery.
Genuine interest in games, consumer products, or technology-driven businesses.

Responsibilities

Own Scopely’s corporate close and reporting cadence.
Replace manual finance processes with scalable, AI-native automation and lead process improvement projects from concept to launch.
Consolidate company-wide financials across Scopely’s titles.
Partner with the CFO to evaluate the company’s trajectory, surface risks early, and shape mitigation plans.
Prepare and present reporting deliverables to the CFO and finance leadership.
Model returns on competing initiatives with cross-functional partners to inform investment decisions.
Partner across the company to evaluate returns and facilitate growth of Scopely-wide initiatives.
