About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Event Specialist to support the planning and execution of corporate events across a global events portfolio. In this role, you will manage events and assigned workstreams from initial planning through onsite delivery and post-event closeout. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders, agencies, venues, and vendors while maintaining disciplined schedules, budgets, and planning documentation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on event professional who can work independently, anticipate issues, and move fluidly between detailed execution and broader program objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible corporate event or experiential marketing experience, including ownership of complex events or major workstreams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent programs, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-changing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of event planning fundamentals, hotel and venue operations, production, food and beverage, vendor management, and onsite execution
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, scopes of work, invoices, and procurement processes with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent project management, written communication, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate independently within an agreed scope, make sound decisions, and escalate material risks with clear recommendations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and event project-management tools
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required and work extended hours during event delivery

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B technology, enterprise software, or a global corporate environment
  • Experience supporting large conferences, sales meetings, and incentive programs
  • Experience with Cvent or comparable event technology
  • Working knowledge of accessibility, duty of care, sustainability, and inclusive event practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution for assigned corporate events, meetings, and event workstreams, from objectives and scope through onsite delivery and reconciliation
  • Build and manage project plans, timelines, run-of-show documents, decision logs, and presentation-ready status materials
  • Coordinate core event elements including venue and hotel planning, food and beverage, production, content logistics, speakers, attendee experience, transportation, gifting, signage, and onsite staffing
  • Own assigned budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, invoice tracking, and reconciliation; identify cost pressures early and recommend practical tradeoffs
  • Manage day-to-day agency, venue, and vendor relationships, holding partners accountable to scope, deadlines, service standards, and contractual commitments
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, Communications, Creative, Finance, Procurement, and other business partners
  • Prepare agendas, facilitate planning meetings, document decisions, and drive follow-up actions to closure without requiring continuous direction
  • Maintain accurate shared files, presentations, trackers, and event documentation so materials remain current, organized, and presentation-ready
  • Support attendee communications, registration, housing, and operational workstreams in partnership with Event Operations and other program owners
  • Complete post-event reconciliation, debriefs, survey review, and recommendations that improve future programs
