Join us for the Summer 2026 Internship Program! We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Summer Corporate Events Intern. This internship will provide a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in planning and executing corporate events.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to event management, marketing, hospitality, or a relevant field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies (Cvent, Smartsheet, Jifflenow)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Workfront, and Smartsheet a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must be available to work from Tuesday May 26th until Friday August 7th.
  • Be at least 17 years of age prior to scheduled start date
  • Be currently enrolled at an accredited institution
  • Be enrolled at an accredited institution the semester immediately following the summer internship program (Fall 2026)

Responsibilities

  • Assist the events team in planning, coordinating, and executing various corporate events, such as tradeshows and conferences
  • Conduct research on potential venues, vendors, and suppliers for events
  • Collaborate with team members to develop event concepts, goals and objectives
  • Support logistics management, including exhibitor requirements, venue selection, F&B arrangements, audiovisual, and transportation.
  • Assist in creating and managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and processing invoices
  • Coordinate event marketing and promotional efforts, including managing event registrations and 1x1 meeting support
  • Provide on-site event support during setup, execution, and teardown phases.
  • Assist in post-event evaluations and analysis to identify areas of improvement for future events
