About The Position

Corporate Events Coordinator I. JOB SUMMARY: The Corporate Events Coordinator (CEC) leads the planning and execution of high-impact internal Company events. The CEC collaborates closely with internal departments including Marketing, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to ensure events align with business goals and reflect the Company’s culture and values. This role demonstrates exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with a polished, detail-oriented approach capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. The Corporate Events Coordinator is responsible for delivering seamless event experiences that uphold brand standards, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Planning, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of company culture and audience engagement to inform planning and execution.
  • Proven ability to coordinate high-level corporate events and interact with Senior Executives and internal teams.
  • Excellent project management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in planning, coordination, and execution of event logistics.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Proficiency with event management software (e.g., Cvent).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to create professional documents, manage spreadsheets, analyze data, and generate reports accurately and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and track project budgets responsibly.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate event planning required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning of key internal events—including the annual strategic planning meetings, staff celebrations, leadership sessions, Sales Symposium, Annual All-Staff Meeting and other corporate gatherings—while providing logistical support for Sr. Leadership meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Executive Leadership, HR, Marketing) to define event objectives, budgets, and requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional planning meetings related to assigned events; responsible for coordinating and convening the event team as needed to ensure alignment, progress, and successful execution.
  • Oversee and implement all logistical aspects of events, including venue coordination, catering, audio/visual setup, entertainment, transportation, materials management, and accommodations.
  • Coordinate event content development, scheduling, and speaker logistics.
  • Liaise with vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage event budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Develop and manage event timelines, run-of-show documents, and contingency plans.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to coordinate guest registration, invitations, and RSVPs, ensuring a high-quality attendee experience.
  • Coordinate post-event reporting, feedback collection, and analysis to measure event success and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support virtual and hybrid event formats using appropriate technology platforms.
  • Ensure all events comply with applicable banking regulations, confidentiality standards, and internal brand guidelines.
  • Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
