About The Position

Community Servings' mission is to actively engage the community to provide medically tailored, nutritious, scratch-made meals to chronically and critically ill individuals and their families. In addition, we are committed to prioritizing racial and economic justice and health equity in all our programs and business practices. We are a dynamic and fast-growing agency at the forefront of the "Food is Medicine" field, providing over 1M medically tailored meals annually to clients and their families experiencing illness and food insecurity in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In addition, our work strongly focuses on supporting the regional local food system, delivering high-quality nutrition education to the community, and hosting an on-site food-service workforce development program. Over the past 36 years, the agency has provided 15M+ free, scratch-made meals. Community Servings is seeking a results-oriented and relationship-driven professional to manage and grow our corporate engagement program. This role is responsible for cultivating corporate volunteer groups as a pathway to deeper financial investment, with a primary focus on securing corporate sponsorships and partnerships that advance the mission of Community Servings. While corporate volunteer engagement in our kitchen is an important touchpoint, this position is centered on relationship cultivation, sponsorship development, and corporate gift growth. The Corporate Engagement & Partnership Manager will represent Community Servings in the business community, build meaningful relationships with corporate leaders, and convert engagement into sustained philanthropic support through sponsorships, grants and giving.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful fundraising with corporate partners
  • Experience in fundraising, corporate relations, or donor relations
  • Strong leadership and team‑building skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams
  • Proficiency in fundraising software, CRM systems, and management tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5-8 years of corporate relations. external relations, or CSR experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience representing an organization at external business or networking events, preferred
  • Knowledge of corporate sponsorship strategy, cause marketing, or workplace giving, preferred
  • Familiarity with the Greater Boston business and corporate landscape, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partners with a focus on sponsorships, cause‑marketing opportunities, and long‑term financial support
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate prospects, including creating new relationships and those currently engaged through volunteer programs
  • Identify strategies to move corporate volunteer groups toward sponsorship and philanthropic investment
  • Serve as an ambassador for Community Servings in the business community
  • Attend and actively participate in business and networking events, including Boston Chamber of Commerce, The New England Council and other area events and related professional gatherings
  • Build new relationships with corporations not currently supporting Community Servings through sponsorships or philanthropy
  • Partner closely with Development, Grants, Donor Engagement and Volunteer teams to align corporate engagement efforts with organizational priorities
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to create customized engagement and sponsorship opportunities
  • Track and report on corporate engagement activity, pipeline development, and revenue goals
  • Oversee and enhance the corporate volunteer engagement experience as a relationship‑building tool
  • Ensure thoughtful stewardship and recognition of corporate partners and sponsors
  • Maintain accurate records in fundraising database (Salesforce) and support data‑driven decision making
