About The Position

We now wish to bolster our existing M&A capabilities with a highly skilled and experienced M&A Manager to join our Execution Team in North America. Our role: Reporting directly to the head of M&A within Modaxo Americas, you will play a pivotal role in executing high-impact transactions and driving our continued success in the transportation software sector. This is a full-time, fully remote role encompassing the following key responsibilities:

Requirements

  • Someone with passion for leading M&A transactions end-to-end, who thrives in a challenging environment, and who is inspired by the prospect of working within a truly world-leading M&A organisation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully executing transactions
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct complex financial modeling and valuation analyses
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving projects to successful completion
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast and dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the software / transportation technology sector or related industries is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and integration planning
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and valuation assessments to support decision-making processes
  • Manage cross-functional teams and external advisors to ensure alignment and timely execution of transaction timelines
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including target companies, financial institutions, legal advisors, and internal departments
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market trends, competitive analysis, and industry dynamics
  • Support post-acquisition integration efforts to achieve synergy targets and maximize operational efficiencies
  • Develop and implement best practices and processes to streamline M&A execution and integration activities
