About The Position

This role is designed to operate as a core deal execution leader today with a clear path to independently leading transactions over time. The Senior Manager will partner closely with senior leadership to identify, evaluate, structure and execute transactions, while also contributing to broader strategic initiatives such as market and competitive assessments and post-merger integration. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role operating at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations, with direct exposure to the CEO, CFO, and Executive Leadership Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related field preferred
  • Typically 8+ years in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Transaction Advisory.
  • Execution & Ownership: Ability to manage complex deal processes and multiple workstreams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong commercial judgment and ability to assess tradeoffs and long-term value creation.
  • Influence & Communication: Ability to influence without authority and communicate effectively with executives and external stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building & Networking: Strong ability to build relationships across internal and external ecosystems.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: Proactive interest in industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging models.

Nice To Haves

  • Typically 5+ years Corporate Development experience at an operating company, PMI exposure, consulting experience, and familiarity with HR, HCM or Insurance industries preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions from LOI through close, including valuation, diligence coordination and overall execution management.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for bankers, advisors, and target management teams.
  • Build and own detailed financial models, assess transaction structures and deal economics and support capital allocation and strategic investment decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional diligence efforts, identify risks and synergies, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Support integration planning, synergy tracking and development of repeatable integration frameworks.
  • Build relationships with bankers, founders, investors and advisors to assist in the development and maintenance of an acquisition pipeline.
  • Prepare materials for the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors that translates complex analyses into clear insights.
