About The Position

Harris Computer is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development professional to join our high-performing M&A team. This is a role for a proactive individual who excels in an autonomous environment and is passionate about building relationships from the ground up. You will have the opportunity to self-manage, develop effective outreach strategies, and initiate the conversations that lead to major acquisitions. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our M&A pipeline development. Your mission is to use your strong communication skills to connect with founders and executives, building trust and positioning Harris as a preferred partner. Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and source software companies that align with our investment goals, using your initiative to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Lead outbound prospecting through strategic, targeted outreach. You will build rapport with business owners and senior leadership, establishing strong professional connections.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, building credibility and positioning Harris as the acquirer of choice.
  • Develop and implement new methods to improve our outreach process, with your contributions being highly visible and valued.
  • Use our M&A CRM as a strategic tool to manage your pipeline and ensure meticulous tracking of all activities, providing you with the data to make effective decisions.
