About The Position

The Corporate Development Associate will play a key role in supporting the company's acquisition strategy. This position involves preparing due diligence analyses, developing financial forecasts for potential targets, and collaborating with various departments to ensure the successful integration of acquired companies. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strict attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings to leadership and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with knowledge of general financial accounting principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling and presentation development.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in relevant position(s) such as financial analyst, consultant, accountant.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, DataSite, and AI tools such as Claude is preferred.
  • CPA or CFA designation preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare due diligence analyses and ensure completion of all aspects of the due diligence process for potential targets, including financial, legal and operational diligence.
  • Prepare pro forma financial forecasts modeling prospective acquisitions (models include operational drivers, income statements, free cash flow and return analyses.
  • Assist in the preparation of pre-LOI and pre-closing / diligence support insight PowerPoint presentations to key leadership.
  • Collaborate with other departments in completing functional area diligence.
  • Assist in the review of definitive legal documentation related to each acquisition.
  • Assist in post-closing duties, to include earnout calculations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop synergies related to a potential transaction.
  • Assist as needed in acquisition sourcing.
  • Maintain the acquisition model that forecasts impact of each transaction on company’s financial statements.
  • Develop and execute a post integration financial analysis to compare to original purchase model.
  • Collaborate with the Integrations Manager to ensure a seamless handoff post-closing.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10-15% as needed for acquisition-related activities.
