We are seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Department and play a key role in supporting our growing commercial real estate portfolio. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar
  • Minimum 5 years of legal practice
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate leasing experience
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor and service agreements
  • Experience developing contract playbooks and legal templates
  • Outstanding written communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Nice To Haves

  • In-house legal experience with a commercial real estate owner, developer, or property management company
  • Experience with Ironclad or another Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform
  • Experience with Practical Law, CoCounsel, Westlaw, and LexisNexis
  • Knowledge of ADA accessibility compliance
  • Experience managing litigation and coordinating with outside counsel

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate leases for office, retail, industrial, shopping center, and flex properties.
  • Negotiate lease amendments, guaranties, estoppel certificates, work letters, and related leasing documents.
  • Review title commitments, surveys, easements, zoning regulations, and municipal codes to identify legal risks.
  • Draft and negotiate vendor, consulting, service, and other commercial agreements.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation matters and dispute resolution.
  • Support legal operations by maintaining contracts within a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform and developing legal playbooks and templates.
