About The Position

Are you a strategic legal professional passionate about shaping the future of

role in launching new devices and services by providing product counsel support
for a range of teams, including the Kindle business.

You'll be a critical legal strategist, providing comprehensive counsel that
balances legal precision with business innovation. Your expertise will help
navigate complex regulatory landscapes, protect user privacy, and enable rapid
product development.

Your day will blend strategic legal guidance with collaborative problem-solving.
You'll engage with product teams, analyze emerging legal challenges, and develop

Requirements

• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
• 5+ years of legal experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Advertising Law
• Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent
• Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention
• Experience counseling on consumer electronics, hardware products, or IoT devices
• Experience with product launches and go-to-market legal strategies
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and public policy
• Demonstrated ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal support for device teams, addressing product development, privacy, and regulatory compliance
• Develop innovative legal strategies that balance risk management with business flexibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, public relations, and public policy to ensure legal compliance and strategic alignment
• Create robust legal processes that enable rapid product innovation and secure customer trust
• Serve as a trusted advisor on complex legal and strategic issues
