About The Position

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller will be responsible for: Global accounting process Timely and best in class financial reporting Effective controls environment and accounting policies that are responsive to the evolving processes of a growing business Continuous improvement of accounting systems, processes, and reporting capabilities across the globe The integration of financial process and organizations in Mergers and Acquisitions Mentoring a talented accounting organization This is a highly visible opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys both strategic leadership and hands-on execution—someone who can mentor and develop a global accounting team while raising the bar on reporting efficiency, process discipline, scalability, and business partnership.

Requirements

• CPA required; bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, preferably with a strong public accounting foundation.
• Experience as a Corporate Controller, Assistant Controller, Director of Accounting, or similar leadership role in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, global consolidations, financial reporting, internal controls, external audits, and multi-site operations.
• Strong experience with manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and operational finance partnership.
• Proven ability to lead teams across multiple locations and cultures while developing people and improving processes.
• Strong communication skills, executive presence, business judgment, and ability to operate effectively at both strategic and detailed levels.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in technology, medical device, aerospace, defense, industrial, security, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Experience in private equity-backed or public-company environments, including SEC reporting exposure.
• M&A integration, purchase accounting, ERP optimization, and finance transformation experience.
• International accounting and finance leadership experience supporting organizations of significant scale and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Lead Global Accounting and Reporting: Own the global accounting process and ensure the company delivers timely, accurate, and insightful financial results that support effective decision-making.
• Strengthen Controls, Governance, and Compliance: Build and maintain a strong control environment that protects the business today while evolving with the company’s growth, complexity, and future readiness.
• Lead the global internal control framework, including process documentation, testing, remediation, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a primary liaison with external auditors and key advisors.
• Oversee accounting policies, technical accounting matters, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and corporate policies.
• Promote accountability, consistency, and disciplined execution cross-functionally across the global organization.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, and Strategic Initiatives: Serve as a practical business partner to operations and finance leadership, with ownership for the accounting processes that support manufacturing performance, integrations, and growth initiatives.
• Lead manufacturing, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and standard costing activities across multiple facilities.
• Analyze manufacturing variances, inventory valuation, working capital, and operational performance drivers.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, purchase accounting, and post-close finance integration activities.
• Partner with leadership on due diligence, transaction readiness, and strategic projects.
• Translate complex accounting and operational issues into clear insights and actions for business leaders.
• Develop the Team and Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead with a mentor’s mindset and a hands-on approach, developing the accounting team while improving the processes, systems, and capabilities that enable the business to scale.
• Lead, coach, and develop a global accounting team, building capability, accountability, and succession depth.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Modernize accounting and reporting processes through standardization, automation, analytics, and ERP optimization.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and scale financial processes while improving quality and control.
• Model hands-on leadership by engaging in the details when needed while developing others to take on broader responsibility.
