About The Position

This thriving category is still developing, and there is a ton of continued upside as we accelerate consumer penetration. We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our organization as Corporate Controller. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will own the integrity of the Company's financial operations by ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable accounting processes that support our next phase of growth. As the senior accounting leader, you'll oversee all aspects of accounting, tax, treasury, and financial reporting while partnering closely with leaders across the business to strengthen financial operations and support strategic decision making. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building processes, improving systems, and helping a high-growth company scale. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or CMA required.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role.
  • Excellent knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost accounting principles
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP systems
  • Demonstrates professional judgment and high standards for quality and high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet expected goals with stated timeframes
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to make critical decisions that result in meeting organizational goals
  • Ability to work in a hands-on environment and work across functional groups
  • Demonstrates strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills

Responsibilities

  • Own the Company's accounting and financial reporting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable accounting processes that support our continued growth.
  • Lead all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, fixed assets, inventory accounting, cost accounting, and payroll oversight.
  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Build and strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting processes that safeguard company assets while enabling efficient decision-making.
  • Lead the annual audit process and serve as the primary relationship owner with external auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and other financial service providers.
  • Partner with the CFO to support treasury operations, cash management, liquidity planning, lender reporting, covenant compliance, and other financing activities.
  • Lead inventory and manufacturing accounting, including inventory valuation and operational financial controls that support an efficient manufacturing environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement across accounting operations by simplifying processes, reducing manual work, strengthening controls, and improving the quality and timeliness of financial information.
  • Partner with CFO to help lead ERP enhancements, accounting system improvements, and finance automation initiatives that improve reporting, strengthen data integrity, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, FP&A, and other business leaders to strengthen inventory management, improve working capital performance, support strategic initiatives, and provide financial insights that drive better business decisions.
  • Lead by doing, providing direction and coaching to the accounting team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day execution, problem solving, and critical deliverables.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and ownership by setting high standards, challenging the status quo, and helping the team succeed together.
