About The Position

The Corporate Controller will oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close. This role involves preparing and reviewing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Controller will manage tax filings, licenses, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements, and will be responsible for maintaining and improving accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, the position involves supervising and supporting the accounting team, including AP, payroll, and staff accounting functions. The Corporate Controller will partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, audits, and strategic initiatives, and will oversee restaurant bookkeeping processes and financial reporting accuracy. The role also supports benefits administration, vendor coordination, and compliance requirements, and acts as a key liaison with external auditors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of related accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience managing teams and leading projects
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
