About The Position

Provide corporate communications support for an intelligence community agency at both the unclassified and classified levels. Develop and deliver clear, compelling written content, with a strong focus on writing for internal and external audiences. Lead the creation of feature articles and editorial content that highlight organizational initiatives, mission, and workforce engagement. Assist with the development of newsletters and craft messages tailored for the workforce. Generate briefings, talking points, and key messages for division leadership. Apply communication expertise to contribute to the development of strategic communication plans. Collaborate closely with graphic designers and subject matter experts to produce visually engaging and informative products. Maintain and update internal website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Requirements

  • Experience conducting research and interviews to aide in the development of featured articles
  • Experience with producing and publishing publications such as newsletters and annual reports
  • Experience with developing internal communication products, including newsletters and articles
  • Experience with assessing communication metrics and data to help senior leaders make decisions
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in a strategic communications role, or 8+ years of experience in a strategic communications role in lieu of degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using AP Style
  • Experience with working in the intelligence community or DoD
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to a broad audience
