About The Position

IST Management is seeking a Corporate Barista to join the Chicago team in a highly professional corporate environment. The Corporate Barista will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee, espresso, and other beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, have prior barista and customer service experience, and display high hospitality standards. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Must have reliable transportation to/from work
Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and specialty coffee beverages
Ability to operate coffee equipment (coffee machines, espresso machines, grinders, etc.)
Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment

Nice To Haves

Customer Service and/or Hospitality background preferred

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet clients/customers, take orders, and answer questions about the menu
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to prepare beverages
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of equipment, workstations, and Barista area
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
Maintaining area surrounding coffee bar to ensure cleanliness and organization
Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
Order supplies
