About The Position

Zions Bank is seeking a Corporate Banking Portfolio Manager based in Boise, Idaho. This role involves leading credit risk management and service activities for a portfolio of corporate banking credit relationships. The position requires analyzing financial statements, assessing industry risks, managing collateral, and collaborating with relationship teams on credit presentations and approvals. The goal is to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency while managing credit risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
  • Some experience with corporate banking lending and financial spreading and statements or other directly related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of middle market and corporate banking loans, credit and/or related lending processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of middle market and corporate banking credit analysis, spreading and analyzing financial statements, credit scoring, documentation, etc.
  • Good oral and written communication skills to create relationships with clients and to communicate internally with credit partners.
  • Analytical skills needed for credit approvals, credit analysis and underwriting.
  • Good organizational and problem resolution skills.
  • PC skills required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead credit risk management and service activities in a portfolio of corporate banking credit relationships.
  • Monitor and recommend action on past dues, financial performance changes, and documentation and collateral exceptions.
  • Drive the creation of credit presentations by analyzing financial statements & spreads, addressing industry risks, collateral requirements, credit risk analysis and loan structuring.
  • Provide input on pricing, monitor credit performance and collaborate with the relationship team on credit presentations and recommended approval actions.
  • Expand, build and maintain relationships, internally and externally, resulting in a high degree of client satisfaction and productive efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.
