About The Position

At Regions, the Diversified and Specialized Industries Analyst provides primary analytical support to senior coverage bankers and credit products specialists. The role supports origination, underwriting, execution, and portfolio management for traditional corporate banking products and services, including loan syndications, capital markets products, and strategic and financial advisory services. Analysts work as part of client teams that include Associates, Vice Presidents, and Directors/Managing Directors. The position balances support for pitches and live deal underwriting across products and services with general advisory assignments, portfolio management, and research and analytical support. Analysts typically work for three years before having the opportunity to advance to Associate. The position reports through the Diversified and Specialized Industries client coverage and credit products organizations for Regions Bank and Regions Securities LLC. The role is incentive eligible and exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act, so it is not eligible for overtime pay. Analyst program length may be two or more years. Emerging Talent Program Analysts complete a six-week training program before starting in their business unit; this does not apply to hires outside that program.
