Corporate Associate - Emerging Companies/Tech
About The Position
Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a Corporate Associate to its Seattle office. This team represents founders, venture -backed companies, and investors across the technology and life sciences sectors. The work sits at the center of the startup ecosystem, advising companies from formation through financing and exit. You will work closely with founders, executive teams, and venture investors across the full company life cycle. The practice includes advising emerging growth companies on day -to -day corporate matters, negotiating venture financings, and guiding strategic transactions. The broader platform is widely recognized for representing leading technology and life sciences companies and the investors that fund them, with a long track record advising venture -backed businesses through major financings, IPOs, and exits. This team operates as trusted outside counsel to founders and venture investors. Associates gain direct exposure to management teams and investors early, not just internal deal execution. The platform itself is consistently recognized among the leading firms serving emerging companies and venture capital clients, particularly across the technology and life sciences sectors.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of corporate experience at a major law firm
- Background in venture capital, emerging companies, M&A, private equity, or capital markets
- Experience advising high -growth companies or venture investors
- Interest in technology and life sciences companies and the startup ecosystem
