Requirements

  • 4-6 years of significant experience in emerging companies and venture capital work
  • Experienced with start-ups and emerging growth companies, including seed and venture capital financings and public offerings
  • Have done venture financings using NVCA documents while working in a premier corporate practice (required)
  • Some experience with domestic M+A transactions particularly for startup companies and investors
  • Proactive, with a strong business sense and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
  • Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form and a commitment to delivering excellent client service
  • Entrepreneurial, innovative, and forward thinking
  • Excellent business and legal problem-solving skills and judgement
  • Strong work ethic, team player attitude and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions
  • Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or are eligible to waive in
