About The Position

Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is a premium regional security provider seeking an ARMED SECURITY OFFICERS for a corporate location in the Philadelphia area. This position requires the candidate to be a retired law enforcement officer. The role involves responding to on-site issues and emergencies, covering open posts, managing time off requests and payroll, training officers, assisting staff with incidents, monitoring security systems, and ordering/maintaining uniforms. Supervisors are also responsible for ensuring staff wear uniforms properly.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Act 235 Certificate REQUIRED
Retired Law Enforcement Officer REQUIRED
Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
Ability to deescalate situations
Great customer services skills

Responsibilities

Respond to calls and emails for any on-site issues or emergencies in a timely matter.
Cover all open posts and hold post for any openings on site and maintaining overtime.
Review and approve or deny all time off requests.
Review and maintain payroll for all employees.
Responsible for the proper execution of assigned duties.
Trains and retrains new and existing officers.
Assisting staff in handling incidents, medical and turnover for KPI.
Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems to ensure all equipment is in proper working order.
Order and maintain uniforms for security staff.
Ensuring the staff is always wearing their uniforms properly while on duty.
