About The Position

The Corporate Applications Manager serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring the organization's enterprise applications effectively support business operations. This role is responsible for the administration, optimization, governance, and continuous improvement of the company's business applications, including platforms such as Salesforce, HRIS, ITSM, finance, collaboration, and other SaaS solutions. Working closely with department leaders, vendors, and technical teams, this role translates business requirements into scalable application solutions, manages system configurations, coordinates implementations and upgrades, and ensures applications remain secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years administering or supporting enterprise business applications.
  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, HRIS, ERP, Service Management, CRM, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Experience managing SaaS vendors and application implementations.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional business teams.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with workflow automation and system configuration.
  • Knowledge of identity and access management concepts.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data synchronization concepts preferred.
  • Experience working in ITIL or Agile environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for assigned corporate applications.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise SaaS platforms based on business needs.
  • Manage application lifecycle activities including implementation, upgrades, enhancements, and retirement.
  • Coordinate software releases, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Maintain application documentation, configuration standards, and administrative procedures.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand operational challenges and identify technology solutions.
  • Gather and document business requirements for new functionality and process improvements.
  • Recommend automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams or vendors.
  • Ensure applications support standardized and scalable business processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for application vendors.
  • Coordinate vendor support cases and escalation activities.
  • Participate in software evaluations, renewals, and implementation projects.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual service expectations are met.
  • Assist with application licensing and subscription management.
  • Establish and maintain application governance standards.
  • Ensure appropriate user access, security roles, and permissions.
  • Promote data quality through validation rules, audits, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with Information Security to maintain compliance with corporate security standards.
  • Support audit requests and documentation as required.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex application issues.
  • Coordinate with IT support teams to resolve application-related incidents.
  • Develop user documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials.
  • Deliver end-user training for new features and business process changes.
  • Promote adoption of enterprise applications through ongoing communication and education.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to support business decision making.
  • Monitor application usage and adoption metrics.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Produce operational reports for leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional application implementation projects.
  • Coordinate testing, user acceptance activities, and production deployments.
  • Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Benefits

  • The base salary for this position is between $130k-$145k
