About The Position

As a Corporate Affairs Manager, you will work across all business units to ensure consistent messaging, proactive reputation management, and strong engagement with internal and external stakeholders. This is a permanent/ full-time opportunity located in our Head Office.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration (Commerce), or a related field.
4 – 6 years of progressively responsible experience in corporate communications, public affairs, government relations, or corporate affairs.
Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or other regulated industries is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience advising senior executives.
Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and sensitive issues.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Lead public relations, media relations, and external engagement to strengthen the organization’s reputation.
Manage and align internal and external communications to ensure clear, consistent messaging.
Develop and execute communications and provide strategic counsel to support leadership alignment.
Monitor and manage reputational risk, including issues and crisis communications.
Identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships and contribute to business development opportunities.
Support stakeholder engagement, including government relations activities.
Support and execute events and initiatives that enhance stakeholder engagement.
Lead stakeholder outreach including tradeshow and shareholder engagement activities.
Support the development and execution of sponsorship and corporate giving strategies.
Ensure alignment of corporate messaging and brand across all channels.
Track and evaluate the effectiveness of communications and engagement initiatives.
Lead cross-functional communication initiatives.
Coach leaders on communication best practices.
