About The Position

The Corporate Actions team is part of Computershare's Issuer Services business and provides corporate actions services to issuer and non-issuer clients and their shareholders. Our team manages highly visible and financially significant corporate action transactions, partnering with clients, shareholders, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. We play a critical role in ensuring transactions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with client expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting legal, transactional, or regulatory documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Actions, Transfer Agency, Issuer Services, financial services, or a related environment.
  • Certified Treasury Professional or Chartered Financial Analyst
  • Previous experience of working in a Treasury environment and the associated regulatory landscape.
  • Previously operated in analytical roles.
  • Knowledge of Treasury systems and processes including automation
  • Understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Experience with macros, Python, and Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and coordinating Corporate Action transactions from planning through successful execution.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Reviewing and interpreting transaction documentation, including offering materials, merger agreements, and SEC filings.
  • Analyzing transaction requirements and developing solutions that meet client needs and business objectives.
  • Managing project timelines, deliverables, documentation, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful execution.
  • Providing subject matter expertise and guidance on Corporate Action transactions and related processes.
  • Coordinating client funding activities, funds flow requirements, and operational aspects of transactions.
  • Reviewing client billing, resolving questions or discrepancies, and supporting ongoing client satisfaction and retention.
  • Partnering with internal teams and clients to support post-transaction activities, process improvements, and operational best practices.
  • Building strong client relationships while managing expectations and ensuring a high level of service throughout each project.
