About The Position

As a national health solutions partner, Medavie puts people first in everything they do. They are looking for a high-energy, dynamic, and passionate Corporate Account Executive focused on the Atlantic region. This role involves working with advisors to help organizations provide health and wellness solutions to their employees. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing an understanding of client needs, providing solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction with Medavie Blue Cross. This role requires being an expert in group insurance and staying updated on industry trends. Requirements

  • Five solid years of experience in sales and the group benefits industry.
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Experience building meaningful relationships with advisors within the Atlantic market.
  • Completed a post-secondary education in marketing or a related, relevant field of study.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A driver's license is mandatory as this position will require travel within an assigned region.

  • Bilingualism in English and French.

Responsibilities

  • Work with your team to execute the organization’s sales strategies.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of the sales function of your assigned block of business within the Atlantic region.
  • Be accountable for achieving annual targets in the areas of new business, retention, execution, and profitability.
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current clients and prospective clients through a relationship-based approach.
  • Coordinate business development efforts with service and underwriting teams.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with service and underwriting teams.
  • Conduct sales presentations and organize seminars.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing industry publications and establishing your professional network.
  • Prepare action plans to identify specific opportunities and segment client contacts.
