As a Corn Cooker, you will p repare raw batches of corn to be used in the production of corn-based products. Areas of Responsibilities : DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare batches of corn by filling kettle with water and adding corn and lime Observe and maintain cooking time Cook corn and agitate, then transfer to the holding tank Must be able to lift to 50 pounds WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITES: Perform Weekly/Weekend cleaning on kettles, tanks, and surrounding areas Work with cleaning chemicals Always utilize all required PPE . OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform any added duties as assigned by supervision Attend required training sessions Work overtime, as required Follow GHP (Good Housekeeping practices) as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Work towards attaining and maintaining GFSI & BRC certifications
