About The Position

This position includes operating a core winding machine in order to produce transformers according to core specifications. Must be able to use and have a general understanding of measurement devices and follow product dimensions on the core specification sheet. Overtime is required.

Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Read, use, and understand measuring devices.
Be punctual, reliable and have a good work ethic.
Must be able to work well with others and foster teamwork.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
Experience working with hand tools.
Must have an understanding of measurements using standard and metric measuring devices.
Have the ability to operate a hoist properly and safely.

Nice To Haves

Ability to set up and run machine for production.
Ability to operate a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

Operate a core winding machine to produce transformers according to core specifications.

Assure that all products meet the highest standard of quality.
Identify proper materials for production.
Follow all safety rules and ISO requirements.
Operate a pallet jack and/or forklift.
Adhere to all company rules and policies.
Set up and run machine for production.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Operate a spot welder.
Ensure that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.
Perform preventative maintenance of machine.
Building of winding mandrels.
