About The Position

The Core Quality Manager for Transmission and Driveline guarantees deployment of quality policies and achievement of product quality targets for products under development and in mass production across the Transmission, Driveline, and Electric Drive Systems perimeter. The role is responsible for design-related quality from program approval through end of production, and leads global efforts to define and improve propulsion systems processes. The potential perimeter includes transmissions and gearboxes, transfer cases, driveshafts, halfshafts, axle and wheel disconnects, electric motors, electric drive modules, power inverters, DC/DC converters, charging systems, supplier-provided software, coordination with Stellantis-developed software, controls, and calibration. The manager tracks development KPIs and reports them during project reviews, captures lessons learned for use across new programs and regions, and manages systemic quality improvement by analyzing propulsion system interactions. The role also drives engineering deep dives to address field concerns, manages risks and issues through closure, interfaces with Quality on warranty items and emerging issues, and organizes and leads internal and external project team meetings. Regular reporting to propulsion systems and quality management is required. Domestic and international travel is possible.
