About The Position

Must have good vision, hearing, and hand-eye coordination. Must be able to follow written work instructions. Must be able to multitask and meet production goals and deadlines. Must be team-oriented and have good communication skills. Must have great attention to detail. Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to grip, push, and pull with 80lb strength on a regular basis. Must be able to generate 15lbs of pinch strength on occasion. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical. Must be able to perform elevated work on an occasional basis. Some tasks require repetitive activities. Must be able to stand on concrete up to 8 hours. Must be willing to cross-train within the classification. Must be able to follow all safety rules and wear all required personal protective equipment. Must be able to work any shift. Must be able to maintain a clean workstation and clean equipment. Must be able to identify the core boxes necessary for each mold. Must have good fine motor skills to make smaller pieces. Must be able to identify the differences in sand used in each core. Must be able to work with an inhibitor. Must be able to learn to work on a 240, 250, 450, or C3 rollover machine for the largest cores. Must be able to use a mixer and hydraulic equipment. Must be able to provide communication and support to the pattern shop on pattern boxes. Required to make quality cores by following work instructions and communicating with engineering team. These job duties are not all inclusive. The Company, from time to time, may require the incumbent to perform additional duties as assigned.
