About The Position

Lesley University is seeking a part-time, nine-month Temporary Core Faculty of Studio Arts (Printmaking) to join our undergraduate Studio Arts program. The Temporary Core Faculty member develops course materials, delivers demonstrations, leads critiques, and evaluates student work, supporting both technical skill development and conceptual growth. They are expected to provide clear, timely feedback, maintain accurate academic records, and foster an inclusive, rigorous learning environment that encourages experimentation and independent artistic development. In addition to teaching, the faculty member is responsible for maintaining a safe, well-organized printmaking studio environment, which includes instruction in proper use of presses, tools, inks, and materials, adherence to safety protocols, and general upkeep of shared facilities. The role includes supporting curricular continuity within the program, collaborating with studio art colleagues, and contributing to critiques, reviews, and department activities as appropriate.
