Rox is building the AI-native revenue operating system, designed for agents operating systems rather than humans operating dashboards. Their platform runs continuous decision loops powered by real-time context from across the enterprise, where agents analyze signals, reason about them, and take action automatically. This requires building infrastructure that combines elements of distributed systems, real-time decisioning, agent execution frameworks, semantic retrieval systems, low-latency streaming infrastructure, and knowledge graph architectures. Rox is backed by prominent investors and has experienced rapid growth, serving Global 2000 customers across various industries. The company focuses on building for the future of enterprise AI systems. The Core Engineering team at Rox is responsible for building the systems that ensure the reliability of autonomous revenue agents at enterprise scale. This team is central to Rox’s long-term technical strategy and manages foundational infrastructure related to agent reliability and orchestration, distributed execution systems, graph-based retrieval infrastructure, streaming and real-time context systems, observability for autonomous workflows, and low-latency data and inference pipelines. The challenges faced by this team are akin to those in real-time OLAP systems, streaming compute platforms, distributed databases, semantic retrieval systems, deterministic execution infrastructure, and high-scale platform engineering. Agents at Rox continuously retrieve context, reason across changing state, trigger actions, update workflows, and coordinate across systems. Core Engineering develops the infrastructure to make these processes fast, reliable, observable, and deterministic.
